If you can brave the wintry weather there is fun to be had at a new park in Elkhart.
The NIBCO Water and Ice Park opened to the public last weekend.
It's located along the Riverwalk, and it's not just your typical ice rink!
The park features paths that go-out and back-in a skating oval.
"It’s more of a leisure type park not your hockey rink regulated facility. But more with the leisure approach of ice skating," says Gil Martinez, Recreation coordinator.
On Sunday the 16th, the Water and Ice Park is giving free admissions and skate rentals as a special treat.
