<text>Making a city bike-friendly, is not an easy thing to do. That is happening in one city and people are getting an inside look at the process.

"Go Green" is the theme of this year's Lunch and Learn Series, what the city of South Bend is doing to encourage greener lifestyles.

They talked about the city's new bike lanes, bike-friendly signs, and different events like this Sunday’s Bike the Bend.

Event Director, Bike the Bend Jeanne Blad says, “Certainly, bicycling is a greener way of transp. Bike the Bend is about getting folks to get out and ride, whether it’s for fun, for recreation, for exercise, or transportation.”

This is just part of May's Bike to Work Week, which is right after Bike the Bend.
</text>
