Hey all...

I apologize for the misleading headline about Vanessa Williams and the D.C. Sniper.  I need to put the topics I am talking about in the headlines because many times my blogs come up as Google Alerts.  Note:  Vanessa Williams has nothing to do with my thoughts on the D.C. Sniper, etc.

Alright, first thing - Actress/Singer Vanessa Williams will be on "16 Saturday Morning" this Saturday, November 14 at 9:10 a.m. talking with me about how disadvantaged woman can get back into the workforce if they are unemployed.  She is teaming up for "Dress for Success" - a great not for profit organization http://www.dressforsuccess.org/ geared towards helping women get back on their feet.

Moving on...

Tuesday night, the so-called "D.C. Sniper" was executed for a 2002 killing spree that terrorized 3 states.  John Allen Muhammad killed 10 people while never showing any signs of remorse - even as he was strapped to the table.  This brings up a touchy topic - do you believe in eye for any eye?  Because he killed someone does that make it right for the legal system/jury to kill that person?

Yes, this man murdered many innocent people as they were shopping, getting gas, with their families and it was senseless and an immense tragedy.  Do you think he should have rotted in jail or is he in a far worse place now?

Let me know your thoughts.

Have a great day...

Posted by: Utakesally I signed above with my usual pen name instead of as John Allen Muhammad admittedly taking the risk of further annoying Anonymous who sounds just a smidge madder than a March hare. So you all know, I must apologize ahead of time but at the moment I'm into the whole brevity thing tonight as I have an exciting night ahead of me and only another hour or so to prepare. Still to be done is to write a sensual poem, prepare candles, incense, some select oils and mood music in preparation for tonight's viewing of a brand NEW episode of "Cougar Town" so let me just say in regards to Vanessa Williams: AbadaAbada Grrrrrr! and to the Sniper I'd ask: can we interest you in an ice cold chillingly refreshing Italian Ice?

What that sniper did to innocent people was wicked. He deserved death and yes,he's in a dark, hot, wretched place forever, right where he belongs. To be so wicked as to randomly kill for fun and then to have the audacity to bring out the race card?!? Sickening! No sympathy from me,enjoy the sulfer sucker....rotten human being...

NAME DROPPER! Stop talking about you are going to speak with celebrities and use your platform for the good of our community. Why are you the only employee of WNDU who is CONSTANTLY talking about who you ran into or spoke with who is famous? Pathetic.

Posted by: Anonymous "He deserves to be killed."..."dead is dead. i would have injected, pulled the switch or even kicked him to death"... Stacey is the only one who makes sense here...all the rest of you are John Allen Muhammads who haven't been put in a position where "in YOUR mind" justified you to act out the stupid senseless stuff I see you post on here all the time...

The sniper is right where he should be. I am sick and fed up with housing murderers who are guilty beyond doubt. There should be no appeal process with this faction of society. Once the verdict and sentencing are done-let's get the job done. None of this mistrial, insanity plea nonsense either. It is well past time for us to get tough on ALL crime and make people pay for their actions.Murderers of the innocent are at the top of the scrap heap. Not at the taxpayers expense, either. Ask the families of the sniper's victims how they feel about this execution.Of all people, their opinion is the one that counts..

I am mixed on the death penalty. Executing someone doesn't bring his victims back, nor does it ease mourner's pain. That being said, I also don't think we should have to pay to house, feed & clothe murderers.

I don't believe any human being should take another human being's life. It doesn't matter if it is called "murder" or the "death penalty". They are just two different names for the same action.

I agree with Tony.

dead is dead. i would have injected, pulled the switch or even kicked him to death. i hope they make room for the ft. hood shooter next. my sons in the service overseas and i just don't think what happened on that base was right. hopefully if it happens in sicily my son stands strong as a MA should and takes care of things. and no i am not a war monger, i hated to see my son leave and miss him every day. its been a long 2 1/2 years since me and his mom have seen him. we are hoping after the holidays we will see him finally.

He deserves to be killed. His victims didn't have a choice so neither should he.
