Hey all... As I mentioned in the previous blog, I went home to Hudsonville, Michigan this past weekend for Father's Day and couldn't believe how much it stormed. I can't remember the last time it was that rainy and stormy with such incredible lightening. Amazing. Cars were stranded, rivers quickly flooded, and it all happened in a matter of hours. I also got to see my parent's new puppy Murphy. As you may recall, my beloved dog Bentley (a Boxer) died in March (the same day as my Grandpa) so it was an very difficult time for my family. However, when God shuts a door He opens a window and after weeks of searching my parents have a new little guy. Murphy is a 8 week old Boxer puppy - see the photo above - cute huh? (The puppy is cute, too) haha. Clearly he loves to be held. He's fully of energy and like most puppies, thinks everything is delicious and a game. He waits by the door when he needs to go to the bathroom (yes, he's only 8 weeks old) and is just such a joy. Monday night I hosted the Humane Society's Annual Golf Classic Gala - it just goes to prove how much people love their pets. Nearly $37,000 was raised to help pets right here in Michiana. JS ** This Saturday on "16 Saturday Morning" (June 27) I'll be chatting with Nick Cannon about his new role as host of NBC's America's Got Talent - and about the short leash his wife (Mariah Carey) keeps him tied to. *** Also, please support U93's "Roofsit 2009" Head over to the Martin's Supermarket on Ironwood and S.R. 23 and please donate to help prevent child abuse (whether it be $1 or a quarter - every bit helps). For more info check out www.u93.com or call 1-800-853-KIDS. THANK YOU! |

Murphy is so cute and so are you...enjoy animals are the best I have boston Terriers and my life is perfect because of them. Keep us Update on how he is doing....would love to see more pictures.... Sharon Posted by: Joe Location: Warsaw My friends had boxer pups they raised. Those incessant slobberboxes have only two speeds: run skidding across the floors (even carpet!) or asleep. The best fun is to get a cheap gas station laser pointer. They'll chase the spot for hours! |
