As we told you a couple of weeks ago, September would end up as the wettest month ever.  We really had very little rain the last 2 weeks of the month.  Here are the numbers:

Total rain for September:  13.92"    Normal: 3.79"

Old September Record:  9.01", September, 1977

Old Monthly Record: 10.86", June, 1993

Incredible that the bulk of this rain fell from two "leftover" tropical systems over a 2 1/2 day period.  The rest of the month had below normal rainfall.
