Hey all...
Raise your hand if you're sick of hearing about politics? Me! As a Journalist I am remaining in the middle and not swaying to one side or the other but enough is enough! I remember when there was a time when we weren't sure if Hillary or Obama would be visiting the area. Now it seems like they're raising their families here.
It's pretty interesting Indiana has all of America's eyes watching to see what will happen next...it could be the determining factor in this race. We shall see. It's getting exciting. Well, is it getting exciting or annoying?
When is too much too much?
I spoke with Senator Clinton last week about the the #1 topic everyone wants to know about: gas prices. Obama has been pushing the gas issue as has McCain. There's no denying gas could make or break this election depending on voters views on it.
More interesting than that is how calculated every single move is the candidates make. When Hillary visited a South Bend gas station, every move was planned by her people. She was to pick up the gas nozzle with her right and turn to her left, point here, hand the cashier money with this hand, etc. It really is like a ballet (minus the music). The footage of her getting that now world famous cappuchino (it was the #1 video on Youtube for 2 days as well as joked about on "The Tonight Show" and "The Daily Show") neglected to show that as soon as Clinton got back into that pick-up truck, she handed the cappuchino to an assistant in the back seat - never to see it again. Anything for a photo. Say cheese!
Ahh, politics.
