Hey all...

I must tell you I am surprised the Golden Globe Awards are not airing this year.  Initially actors were told not to cross the picket lines - therefore making it impossible for them to present or accept any awards.  Last night NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press announced the awards would go on but in a televised "press conference."  Zzzzzzz.  Who cares about that?  I want to see Christine Lahti rush from the bathroom again when she wins!!  I want to see Tom Cruise pretend to be taller than he is!  I want my Globes!  Boooo. 

The Globes are known to be the "fun" awards show and also a preview to the Oscars which might not happen either.  We will have to wait and see.  Ohh well.  We'll find out who wins this Sunday night.  Access Hollywood will have a post-show wrap up at 10 p.m. following the "awards."

Ok, on to Roger Clemens.  Roger has been accused by his former trainer that he has taken steroids.  Roger strongly denies it and has even filed a lawsuit against his trainer for defamation.  All this comes in the light of the major baseball steroid scandal that remains and several players have been accused and/or admitted to taking steroids.

Roger Clemens is a huge man.  I mean humongous.  I've interviewed Roger 3 times - never on the baseball field - but rather on the golf course.  He shook my hand everytime and crushed it.  He is an avid (and very good) golfer.  We've talked during the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic that takes place every January near Palm Springs, California.  Roger plays with many other celebrities for local desert charities.  He is slated to play in 2 weeks for the 2008 tournament but I can almost guarantee he will cancel due to the current status of events surrounding him.

I am still amazed at the warm weather we've been having.  In 48 hours it goes from 0 degrees to 65 degree.  Wow, only in Michiana.
