Hey all...

The Casey Anthony trail is now a few weeks old - and I've been watching it like a hawk.  I love it.  Thank goodness for HLN that airs it live throughout the day - me watching as much of it as I can.

For both of you who don't know about this case - Casey is the Florida mother accused of murdering her 2-year old daughter then burying her in a shallow grave in 2008.  Little Caylee was found with duct tape around her mouth and head...with a heart sticker on her mouth. 

Anthony's lawyer is a real live-wire and watching him is what makes the casing interesting to watch.  Most of the time when he objects to the prosecution he is overruled by the judge and gives this "I'm going to take by ball and go home" look...then pouts.   It's really fantastic, real TV.

This case will go on for a while.  The witnesses have been fantastic and really interesting - the entire time Casey sits in court stone-faced; rarely even blinking.

It soon (hopefully) will be in the hands of the jury.

    The jury may have found her not guilty but no parent with a missing or dead child would ever look like they are having fun until they got closure. Since she didn't kill her child, has she started a task force to find the true killer?

    I wish everyone would understand the love that Jesus has for EVERYONE, someone who murders is the same sin as if you lie or steal. If she knows Jesus Christ, as her savior, and has asked for forgiveness, he has forgave her. What an awesome God! I know it sounds like I'm for Casey Anthony, but I can't judge her, I almost fell for it yesterday as they read the verdict, I wanted to hurt someone and cry for the poor girl, but I have to understand, I'm a sinner and I'm working on myself, and so might she . By us talking and slamming the mother is just as wrong, in Jesus's eye. So I'm asking for people to pray for the mom, that if she hasn't found Jesus, that she seeks him out now. We all need Jesus in our life, right now and everyday.

    Oh my God what are they thinking. I can't believe she got away with it. Its like a OJ Simpson trial again. I don't know how these people can live with thereself. What a in justice for this child.

    we have been watching the case very close,at times i think she did it butt then i think her mother helped to,what i do not understand still is if she did drown then why did casey still wait so many days to report her missing?and if she did drown why the duck tape and buring her body whlise she was already day too grusesome for me,just makes me sick,i say guilty guilty guilty,

    I believe her parents are responsible for enabling Casey to continue her partying ways. Once she had Caylee, the party days should have been over. I see grandparents everywhere that continue to watch their grandchildren, while the parental mothers go out partying every weekend. This is wrong. Recently, a paternity test was ordered for Casey's brother and father to see if they fathered Caylee. Is the whole family nuts?

      You make a good point about her parents Craig. Personally, I do believe Casey killed Caylee simply because Caylee had become a "burden". BUT...yes, in todays's society all too often grandparents are EXPECTED...by the parent(s)...to watch over and care for their kid(s) as they continue on with their partying ways. I personally know one couple who are both unemployed, not looking for work, don't want to work and are high 24/7. Who watches their kid? Yep! Grandma and Grandpa. It's beyond disgusting. And I gotta add in that I'm not sure just what it is but there is SOMETHING that just ain't right with Casey's parents, ya know? I don't think they were responsible for Caylee's death, but they are hiding something I think.

        You should report the people you know about to CPS or law enforcement. That is part of the problem these days, people sit back and do nothing because they believe it's none of their business, and then tragedy strikes..

    I think she ran out of sedatives to give the child to put her to sleep so she could go party and she tried to cholorform her so she could take off and and party. I have no theory on the tape though. Seems strange as it covered both the nose and mouth. A sad ending for everyone indeed. This woman was too young and irresponsible to have a child. She will pay a dear price for sure.
