As Seen on TV: The Slap Chop

Terry McFadden recently reviewed the Slap Chop for WNDU's As Seen on TV segment.

One thing that Terry wanted to make clear right of the bat, is the relatively small size of the Slap Chop. Since the device is smaller then a food processor, you are going to have to cut whatever you use it on so it will fit inside.

The Slap Chop did a pretty good job of chopping up things like potatoes for stew. One of the features of the Slap Chop is how fine it can cut – the more you chop the finer the food gets.

The first thing we're going to Slap Chop is a cut potato. So, you just put the slap chop over whatever you're chopping. Now, for instance, if I'm just making stew and I want potatoes for stew, I'll just chop it one time, slap it one time.

The manufacturer also says that you are able to mix fruits and vegetables together, which works pretty well, and mixes pretty even.

The Slap Chop is available locally at Bed, Bath and Beyond in Mishawaka.
