Tonight on Newscenter 16 at 5:30:
A couple of weeks ago, Terry tested the Cloud Pillow which proved to help alleviate morning neck and back pain.
On this week’s As Seen on TV test, Terry profiled another pillow you may have seen on TV. This is called the Total Pillow.
It’s not totally different, but it certainly has a totally different look from the Cloud Pillow.
The Total Pillow looks somewhat like a big doughnut. One obvious way to use this thing is when sitting here on something like a hard oak chair while working at the computer. You can use it to kind of soften the blow. And, according to Terry, it actually feels pretty good. Since the total pillow is pliable, you can twist it to fit different applications. Let's say you need some lower back support, some lumbar support, you can twist it like so and put it behind your back and it does seem to give you a little more support.
You can also just kind of bend it over and you can support your neck so you have a nice comfortable position to do one of man's favorite activities -- be a couch potato, watching TV.
When was sitting in that a recliner the total pillow contoured to Terry’s neck. It will also contour to furniture. So, let's say for instance you’re on my couch and you want to do a little reading. You can just put it back on the armrest and it supports my head. You can open up a good book and do a little reading.
And if you have trouble sleeping at night perhaps because your pillow just doesn't have enough support, the total pillow can act as a supplement. You just put it right on top of your pillow and you lie down and it gives your neck a little more support ala the Cloud Pillow.
The total pillow is very comfortable, and what Terry liked most about it is when you put it into a certain position, let's say like a neck rest, it stays in a certain position where other pillows would kind of come back out. So, it certainly is a different twist to pillows and it has a lot of different applications. It is comfortable, it's soft and Terry really liked it. He thought the Total Pillow was totally cool and gets the thumbs up.
