Unity Gardens hosts free public cooking class

Unity Gardens is a non-for-profit organization that puts together free gardens throughout the community for public use.

To stress the importance of healthy eating on a budget, the group is hosting it's weekly cooking class Tuesday at their offices in the Food bank of Northern Indiana.

Kate Chappell was live at the offices on Tuesday to preview how to put the Unity Gardens to use while preparing a meal.

The Quick and Easy Cooking class is Tuesday at Unity Gardens at 6pm. The class is free and open to the public. People of all ages are invited to participate in the class.
