There are over 9,000 kids in South Bend that live with a co-dependent or addicted parent, and with the communities support The Moyer Foundation brings Camp Mariposa to South Bend.
The Moyer Foundation was founded by All-Star pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen.
Camp Mariposa it is a first-of-its-kind program for children living with and affected by a loved one’s drug or alcohol dependency.
The camp was established in the Northwest, and is a weekend-long experience blending recreational, therapeutic and educational elements designed to teach children problem-solving and self-care strategies.
On September 2nd, 7:30pm after the pep rally in The Monogram Room, Dry Tailgate will be a high energy event with live ntertainment, program, great food, a silent & live auction and rallying for The Irish season opener!
