With a weekend full of snow for most of Michiana, folks are able to take advantage of area outdoor activities that were unavailable during the mild part of the season.
Tubing, cross country skiing and snow shoes are a few of the options available at St. Joseph County Parks. For a low cost, adults and kids of all ages can partake in family fun.
Brooke Artley, the Leisure Services Manager for St. Joseph County Parks says the parks are great for not only fitness activities to keep folks active, but also sight-seeing, bird watching, photography and hiking.
Hours vary, and Artley says it's best to call or check online to verify the park is open, and has enough snow for winter festivities. Click here for more
