The polls are currently open for primary voting in Indiana.
Tuesday, Republican Senator Richard Lugar, the face of Hoosier politics for nearly four decades is battling for political survival against a Tea Party-backed GOP challenger, Richard Mourdock.
If Lugar loses Tuesday, Indiana is guaranteed to have at least four new faces in Washington after November's general election because three of the state's nine congressional seats are also open. Those seats are open because of the departures of Representatives Mike Pence and Joe Donnelly, as well as the retirement of Dan Burton.
Pence, a Republican, is running for governor, while Donnelly, a Democrat is running for U.S. Senate.
