Potawatomi Zoo to open for 2012 season

The Potawatomi Zoo opens Friday at 10:00 a.m. for the 2012 season.

Some of the zoo's most popular animal friends will be on hand for the opening.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg will celebrate the zoo's upcoming season by visiting with North American Otters.

The zoo is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Admission is $8.00 for adults. Children under age 14 and seniors 62 and over cost $4.00. Those under age 2 can get into the zoo for free.
