Prom can be an expense for high school girls, but two local organizations are teaming up to make sure local Michiana girls have the night of their dreams.

Ziker Cleaners and the Junior League of South Bend are asking for donations of lightly used formal and semi-formal dresses.

The Princess for a Night event is in its ninth year. Girls are given their selection of dresses free of charge.

Dress donations will be accepted at all eight Ziker Cleaners locations through March 14th.

The Princess for a Night event is held on Saturday March 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the College Football Hall of Fame.

Girls who would like to take part in the event must arrive by 11:30 p.m. at the entrance of the event. Dress selection is based on a first-come first serve basis.
