IHOP is celebrating "National Pancake Day" Tuesday by giving away free short stacks if you make a donation to Riley Children's Hospital.

Rebecca Dodson, general manager for IHOP in Mishawaka and Lynn Viater, chair of the Northern Indiana Regional Leadership Committee for Riley's Children's Hospital joined 16 Morning News to discuss the fundraiser.

National Pancake Day began in 2006 and IHOP has raised nearly $8 million for charities in different communities across the nation.

Donations from today will go to Children's Miracle Network hospitals, including Riley Children's Hospital.
