When it comes to learning, it is important to make it fun for kids. This weekend, the whole family can see history come alive at the downtown Mishawaka Public Library.
Civil War re-enactors will portray Northern and Southern soldiers and civilians from the 1860s era. The re-enactors will be dressed in Civil War era clothing and carry equipment and accessories.
Janice Moore joined Tricia Sloma on 16 Morning News to discuss the upcoming event.
The event will be held in the Lions Room at the downtown Mishawaka Public LIbrary on Saturday, February 18 at 2:30 p.m.
