Goodwill is hosting a competition between South Bend schools to see who can collect the most donations for stores, while students clean out their own closets at home.
It's called the "Extreme Closet Makeover" contest. Students are asked to take before and after pictures of their closets, after their cleaned out and items are donated to Goodwill.
Big blue bins are in place in all South Bend schools. Students just have to bring in clothing, books, toys or other donations and drop them in the bins. The school that collects the most donations, by weight, will be awarded a traveling trophy.
Schools will be sending home bookmarks with information about the drive.
