Downtown South Bend will be kicking up their heels Friday for "First Fridays". This month's theme is "Dance, Dance Downtown!" and it features a whole night of dancing for all ages.

From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. you can learn unique styles of dance including Hip Hop, Middle Eastern, Spanish Flamenco and Latin dance at the Woodward. Dancers from Indiana University South Bend Raclin School of the Arts will be on hand for demonstration and lessons.

There are also activities for teens, children and adults inside the South Bend Chocolate Cafe Rockne Room from the St. Joseph County Public Library. A DJ will be on hand, as well as XBOX 360 Kinect dance games.

At 6:30 p.m. a surprise performance will take place near the College Hall of Fame gridiron.

There will also be free TRANSPO trolley rides from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at marked locations throughout downtown South Bend.
