Fur hits the catwalk this Thursday at the Elkhart County Humane Society's Annual Furry Friends Fashion Fair Benefit.
It's the 9th annual fashion show, and furry friends will accompany local residents down the runway as they display this season's popular winter trends from Stephenson's in Elkhart.
The luncheon will take place Thursday November 1st at the Matterhorn Conference Center at noon.
"The Furry Friends Fashion Fair is not only an important fundraiser for the Humane Society but also a fun way to spend your lunch break," said Bernice Simms, event founder and Humane Society Board member.
Danny Reynolds of Stephenson's says, "it's such a great cause. I mean we love to have fun, we love to do shows but it's that much better when you're supporting a community organization. The humane society has been an intregal part of this community for a lot of years. As we know they take in 400-500 animals a month, that's a lot. And anything we can do to help spread the word, and raise money, we're thrilled about."
