A new play is coming to South Bend's Civic Theatre in the Wilson Mainstage Auditorium.
The play, titled, "Blue", runs from January 20th to February 5th. The play, by Charles Randolph-Wright is about a well-to-do African-American family in South Carolina. The family owns a funeral home business. The mother of the family aspires to high class and the finer things in life, but her sons rebel.
The cast includes Natalie Davis Miller, Ben Little, Paul Bertha, Laurisa LeSure, Diane Gammage and newcomers Gil Michel, Shaylon Wright. The sons are played by Ian Coates and Antoine Williams.
The play runs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. Prices range from $15 on Wednesday and Thursday to $18 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
