Imagine coming home to find your boyfriend dead after being shot in the head.

That happened three years ago in South Bend, and the homicide remains unsolved.

Lieutenant Cindy Kilgore of Crime Stoppers joined Tricia Sloma on 16 Morning News to talk about the homicide.

The homicide happened in the 52000 block of Laurel Road in May 2009.

44-year-old Lawrence Martin was found by his girlfriend. She arrived at his home where the door was open and the lights were on. Martin was found dead on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head.

Martin's sister said he loved to cook and host parties.

Martin had eight kids that are currently between the ages of 17 and 30. His family is hoping that anyone with information will provide a tip that could lead to Martin's killer.
