An overnight fire at Saint Mary’s college caused minor damage to the “Moreau Center for the Arts.”
Firefighters were called out just before 1 a.m. to put out a fire in the building’s basement.
University of Notre Dame, Clay Fire Territory, and South Bend Fire crews responded to the blaze.
Before they arrived, security at Saint Mary’s had used fire extinguishers to keep the fire from spreading.
Fire officials think the fire originated in a storage area.
No one was injured during the fire.
The university says it will be business as usual in Moreau on Monday. Classes will resume and offices will be open.
Friday and Saturday's performance of the musical "The Secret Garden" will go on, as scheduled.
